Day-99 Worked on Markdown Previewer and finally found the cause of bugs. ||#100DaysOfCode

LAST SECOND DAY of 100DaysOfCode, Gosh that was a really long and indeed a great journey. There were moments when I was on top of the world then there were moments when I felt like why am I even trying but I am glad I completed the challenge without much breaks like I did when doing the challenge for the first time.

So today was productive than the past couple of weeks, I saw a tweet regarding the markdown previewer project, someone else was doing it too so that motivated me to look at mine and see the possible bugs and why weren’t some things working and guess what I found? The problem was tailwind base styles that were affecting the heading and list styles. By the way, I decided to ditch Code Sandbox and use my local environment to work on the project because I find it better when there is more work. I set up the whole project with all dependencies and styled the project better. For now, I stopped at overriding the base styles for heading and list, etc, I will see tomorrow if there is another way maybe in the tailwind config file to just remove those styles. Apart from that I checked things and they work really fine, I decided to not do the maximize and minimize functionality as I didn’t quite like it plus it isn’t that big of a deal I’ll try to do it somewhere else.

I took help from the demo project from freecodecamp to see what’s wrong with my code and it helped me a bit because nothing was wrong with the code it was just tailwind messing up the styles because of which I felt like no headings or list were working. I’ll complete this project tomorrow as there is not much left except for managing the base styles for heading and list(will see if any other element want changes too or not) and make it better in the looks department although I made sure it is responsive right now and decent there is room for improvement. If I’ll get extra time then I’ll continue learning Gatsby so yeah that’s the plan for day 100th.
