Day-97 Going through Gatsby docs tutorial. ||#100DaysOfCode
September 27, 2020
Hey Fam, I hope y’all are doing good. If you want to connect with me then search for the username @fabcodingzest on any platform like Twitter, GitHub and you’ll find me.
So I realized something today, I started learning React in September 2019. Gosh, it’s been a great ride with me pausing for my exams just after I completed my React course for exams and then trying to build the movie app with redux which made me go back to basics and I got back to Vanilla JavaScript. I improved a lot in a year maybe not with React but I surely did improve in other things like styling and a bit better at JavaScript fundamentals. I even learned Node, Express, MongoDB, and tons of stuff in the year even if I didn’t put everything to practice but I am proud of my progress. There were moments when I wanted to quit but I didn’t and I am glad I didn’t.
Now today instead of following any tutorial I decided to learn gatsby through the documentation as they provide a tutorial too. Markdown previewer is put on hold as I need to make a static site soon so I thought why not learn gatsby as I know to React plus it’s blazing fast. I would finally be able to get this blog structure as well as I just add my markdown files right now, it was a starter blog file after all so except for some tweaks I didn’t have to do anything. I will spend some time learning gatsby and building that site, after that I’ll resume markdown previewer hopefully.
If you are reading my stupid blogs then just know, I appreciate you a lot💙.
