Day-7 Having a call with team AceFCC and creating a Pomodoro Timer App. ||#100daysOfCode

Hey Fam, I hope y’all are doing good. So today was sorta awesome not because I was super productive or something but because I had a team call with my team AceFCC where I and my mates will conquer the FreeCodeCamp curriculum together and learn together. Today three of us had the call and we shared and explained our code of the calculator we all made which was our first weekly task. It was nice to see everyone’s code and different styles to approach a problem or a project. We also decided this week’s task which is to build a CRUD Shopping List, so I’m looking forward to that.

Apart from the call, I started working on a small Pomodoro Timer App with Vanilla JavaScript XD. Yes, I am stubborn like that. Unless I am sure my fundamentals are good enough to move to a framework, I am gonna build apps to practice it. Right now I am working on the layout. I’ll finish it tomorrow hopefully and start my Shopping List weekly task.

Also, I have participated in Girlscript Uplift Project for Node and React stack. We’ll be working on a project with a team (which seems to be half-dead in the slack, yeh I am irritated), they are sorta decided and I’ll be working on it for the next three months with my team hopefully. I hope something comes out of this so let’s see how it goes. By the way, some mentor informed the team about an introductory session on Google Meet which terrifies me and hiked my anxiety because AceFCC was the first team I talked on call and we are yet to use webcam lol, so yeah I’ll update you guys how it goes tomorrow.
