Day-69 Working on Custom Sign In and Sign Up with Passport.js. ||#100DaysOfCode

August 22, 2020

Hey Fam, I hope y’all are doing good. If you want to connect with me then search for the username @fabcodingzest on any platform like Twitter, GitHub and you’ll find me.

Guess what? I did the second task of week 3 before the deadline like hell yeah girl you are killing it (A girl gotta cheer herself up okay 😂). Technically it’s 23rd of August because I am writing this blog later but I completed the task in the night itself somewhere near 1:40 a.m. so it counts in the day itself okay 😆. I am free but for now, the keys and tokens were generated from my Gmail API project and I am not going to use my main mail account for a demo project to send emails with my name lol, so I have asked the mentor to create credentials for me so I can use it in my code and check that there are no errors. That’s it for the day, it was very tiring as there are several methods and OAuth2 gave so many errors while generating tokens as well so yeh I am proud of myself.

Looking at how I struggled and didn’t get any particular article or tutorial to do what I wanted (although bits of everything online helped) I decided to write articles about what I learned and how to do what I learned including the errors one might face. Next aim after this is to learn some WordPress as I might have a potential project to work for a friend I personally know, hope it turns out well and I am all in for learning, oh and on the side I will start writing technical articles to give some value back to the community.

If you are reading my stupid blogs then just know, I appreciate you a lot💙.

Bye
