Day-67 Working on Custom Sign In and Sign Up with Passport.js. ||#100DaysOfCode
August 20, 2020
Hey Fam, I hope y’all are doing good. If you want to connect with me then search for the username @fabcodingzest on any platform like Twitter, GitHub and you’ll find me.
So I completed the Node.js Passport Authentication tutorial and to be honest it doesn’t seem like something too hard to implement. I worked on it today and for now, I have got the pages and routes set up along with the Strategy, I need to handle the form and actions and save the user in the database but I am done for the day. I hope to complete this task by tomorrow and start the other task that needs me to send an email after the stock is purchased by the user (seems complicated but I will see what I can do). And that’s it for the day.
Today is the first Night of Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar in which Prophet’s son was murdered brutally along with his companions and even his six-month-old child. So yeah we spend this month mourning for his sacrifice. The reason why he was murdered is that he refused to accept the terms by the emperor at that time who wanted changes in Islam and harm the public, so he refused to accept the allegiance, and hence it resulted in the Battle of Karbala (Google about it for more). I am just sharing cuz why not, it’s a part of who I am and I don’t mind educating people about one of the major events in history. Thanks for reading if you did read it with interest.
If you are reading my stupid blogs then just know, I appreciate you a lot💙.
