Day-56 Completing Node Team tasks while helping a teammate. ||#100DaysOfCode

August 10, 2020

Hey Fam, I hope y’all are doing good. If you want to connect with me then search for the username @fabcodingzest on any platform like Instagram, Twitter, GitHub and you’ll find me.

So Today was okay in my opinion, the day started with me doing the tasks I was assigned by the Node Team mentor along with helping a team member. We made some mistakes of not making a branch to make a PR but it was alright I guess, I learned to never skip that step XD. Then I had a call with the team where everyone showed their work and mentor gave reviews. There are some problems that need to be fixed to keep the project going on. To be honest, it’s the only team whose mentors are active and are working hard for the team and project, I have already left React team cuz somehow it was dependent on what I suggest along with a couple of other participants which was stressing cuz I wanted to code as a participant not mentor a team whose mentors are irresponsible so I left.

I'm done

I will do some edabit questions before I sleep as well because I enjoyed them a lot (yeah cuz they were easy) and sorta gave me some confidence that I can get better as I am getting better.

My goals for this month are very simple:-

  • To work on Tradebyte project with the team
  • Complete the Node.js course by Jonas on Udemy

That’s it! Two simple goals I will work on simultaneously which are inter-related. I have basic backend knowledge which I will use in Tradebyte according to what task I will be assigned and on the side, I will keep learning node and other things in the course to have a better understanding of how the backend works and become good at it.

Smart Goals

Keep your Goals relevant/realistic not unrealistic so you can actually complete them and self reflect on yourself if you couldn’t complete them otherwise you will end up having incomplete goals which will leave you unsatisfied and sad. ~Fab
