Day-3 Building a Calculator in Vanilla JavaScript. ||#100daysOfCode

June 05, 2020

Hey Fam, I hope y’all are doing good. So TODAY WAS AWESOME! I did everything I wanted to do in a day although some of them are incomplete, what matters is I started.

I slept early last night and managed to get up before 5 a.m. after which I prayed which is the first thing I do always. After it, I exercised for 10 minutes, yeah 10 minutes because I’ve never really exercised regularly so this is my new start and I’m loving it (I don’t like McD tho). Then I had my breakfast and after it, I again did dance workout for 20 minutes through YouTube (mind that I don’t know ‘D’ of Dancing but its FUN).

After all of my morning routine, I started working on my Calculator but before I could proceed further I got this idea to record my process of building a simple calculator. I tested my system fixed some issues, learned few things about OBS studio and webcam, and afterward tried recording the video but my cousins came, and then it was all chaos🤦‍♀️.

I again started working on a calculator and I remembered an article I read about building a calculator in JavaScript so I went to see what elements were used to make it and I am glad I did cuz I was going to use div (would have been stupid), yeah that happens sometimes. Nevermind I made the layout and made it look decent. Afterward, I started working with JavaScript and made many things work but when I came to work on the main functionality to calculate the equation I somehow made it a mess and deleted the code LOL.

I started it from scratch again but it’s almost 11 p.m. which is my deadline to go to sleep so yeah I’ll continue working on the Calculator and Notes App. I will keep y’all updated.

Thank you so much for reading this, I appreciate you💙.

Bye
