Day-37 Learning how Express works and having a call with my besties. ||#100daysOfCode

Ugh, I tried to write some cheesy line for my blog readers but well I never get that shit so I’ll stick to how it was XD.

Hey Fam, hope you all are doing great💗 if not then just stay strong as this is just a phase and it’ll pass soon alright. Life is tough and so are we💪.

Today, I learned some express from the tutorial series from The Net Ninja Node Crash Course. I learned how to get stuff done in the express and how it makes our life easier while working on the backend. I am now learning how to send dynamic data with EJS (Embedded JavaScript templating) instead of static HTML pages and it’s fun but sorta exhausting as I am not used to all this backend stuff but I’ll get over it soon. Shaun will be teaching how to build a basic blog site next and I am excited about it. I spend some time on how can we connect the React Client-side with Express and Node as the Server side. So far I watched a video by Brad Traversy and one by someone else and both basically set up the server and client-side on different localhost ports and then in React they called the data from the server, Brad used proxy in package.json file so that it knows where to go while requesting data. I am a little confused like they both worked for localhost but how would it work when we deploy the app which will have a different domain name, nevermind I’ll figure that out later when I’ll try to deploy something. And that’s all for coding and you can totally skip the blog now as I’ll just be ranting a bit about my besties.

So I talked to my bestie for like 2 hours today, yes it’s a lot but hey we talked after months as we both were busy. I told her about the shit I am dealing with and she told me about hers, it was awesome to catch up after so long and like always we didn’t have any communication gap Alhumdulillah. After like an hour and a half I added another bestie on call which extended the call time lol. I had fun laughing with them and catching up. I might not have friends in real life but I have dealt with enough shit to know that those friendships never last, did I mention we have been friends for over 3 years and still counting oh and we never met cuz they are in different countries. They are always there for me and even do my assignments and other shit when I am in trouble cuz of my laziness. They are my bitches more than a stupid fake friend and I love them inna saaaara(very much)🥺💖. I don’t know if anyone notices but I never use the word “friend” anymore or use it rarely when I actually mean it. People nowadays use friends for anyone they exchange a couple of messages with, fortunately, I still know what a friend actually means and hence prevent myself from making unnecessary “friends” lmao. I am a cool person but a bit closed off one like everyone is welcomed but only a few get close to my heart whom I value. So yeah that’s all about my bitchship saga/sisterhood (better terms than friendship XD). If you made it till here then just know I am really grateful for you. I forgot to mention my uncle and cousins paid a visit today and we also had a nice time💖, I made pancake for my Lil coi=usin but he didn’t like eggs so he refused to eat pancakes ever lol (to think he loved my pancakes, my heart💔) but who cares duh.

Advice - Choose your friends wisely and respect your privacy. The world doesn’t deserve to know everything about you, keep your shit to the people who actually care. ~Fab
