Day-12 Working on wireframes for React Project, back to back meetings, and making a Panda in CSS. ||#100daysOfCode

Soooooooooooo today was a pretty gooooood day for me✨. I managed to complete wireframes just before the meeting. I had two meetings with both Node and React team and unfortunately, the timings clashed because stupid me agreed to have meeting 30 mins after I had my first meeting. Luckily the mentor allowed me to leave at 6:30 p.m. the same time React team meeting started. But I somehow managed to do both of them.

I showed my wireframe to the team and they approved! That was my very first try and I couldn’t be happier that my work was appreciated XD. We had a long meeting and after we were almost done I had to leave earlier because I had to pray maghrib prayer (God above everything). We discussed things and plans on how are we gonna proceed further with the plan and all. So for the first week, we are gonna go through fundamentals in small teams we made to make it easier for mentors to manage. I will first go through Kent C Dodds New React Course and then Colt Steele’s React’s Hooks crash course on YouTube. Both are great teachers so I don’t have to worry about anything, I already have experience in React but the knowledge is now rusty because I haven’t touched it in 3 months. This time I plan to focus on building. Imposter Syndrome can go and fuck itself, I am gonna ace it all! I won’t allow anything to come in my way of practicing until I have time.

For coding I made a Panda with CSS, this is my first CSS Image work and I am hella proud of myself for building it under 2 hours (nose curve elements are left but that’ll be done as soon as I finish writing this blog). It was simple if you know positioning and pseudo-elements which I know very well! I don’t hate CSS as others say, it’s okay if you know things or maybe I don’t feel like it’s hard how people make hype of it. Flexbox made my life easier and luckily I never dealt with floats as I started learning last year when flexbox was pretty famous and I learned it. So yeah don’t look at any tool with a bad eye, just cuz you can’t do it doesn’t mean it’s bad it’s just you have judged it too early from what you heard from other people. I truly believe in gaining your own experience like yes learn from others’ mistakes but for things in tech you have to make your own views instead of making someones like yours.
